Y&G Welcomes Four New Core Staff Members
We are so excited to share that we have added four new members to our core staff team: Richard Chapin, Adam LaBrie, Lauren Ognibene & Riley Quackenbush.
Richard Chapin has joined us as the Statewide Program Director responsible for conducting the Model Legislature & Court and Spring Conference programs. For 15 years, Richard has served as a Delegation Advisor, Volunteer Program Staff and Program Coordinator for several delegations in the East Bay Area. He was instrumental in helping to create leadership development and curriculum ideas for the MUN Secretariat program and has started delegations in the San Francisco, San Jose and East Bay Areas.
Adam LaBrie has joined our team as the Statewide Program Specialist responsible for conducting the Model United Nations and California Judicial Competition programs. Adam was a MLC delegate and intern, then served as MLC Lead Program Staff and a MUN Assistant Director (AD). As an AD, Adam oversaw the expansion of three MUN program areas, spearheaded the development of new program structures for the GA and ECOSOC, and cultivated active partnerships between California YMCA and local colleges.
Lauren Ognibene has joined us as the new Operations Specialist. Prior to Y&G, Lauren has held various operational roles within start-up, academic and private aviation sectors. She will be the go-to contact for conference registration, risk management, logistics and overall conference facilities management.
Riley Quackenbush has joined us as the new Fund Development Coordinator. Riley has worked with a number of non-profits, including Make-A-Wish and Girl Scouts of the USA, focusing her efforts primarily on fundraising and donor cultivation.
Please join us in welcoming Richard, Lauren, Adam and Riley!
